The U.S. Soccer Federation tasked us with producing a nationwide series of larger-than-life public murals to build buzz for the Women’s National Team before they departed for what would become a dominant fourth World Cup Championship in France.
We were made responsible for the end-to-end production of eleven original pieces and an illustrated poster series, both supporting the new U.S. Soccer app launch with AR-enabled design elements.
Our production team built and managed a nationwide roster of female artists to create the collection of artwork.
Adding a powerful social dynamic to the project, the USWNT earned top billing in media coverage throughout the spring and summer as a lightning rod for advocacy and representation.
The artwork acted as a timely depiction of that cultural gravity, bringing the team and its stars to street-level and positioning them as the faces of not only women’s soccer, but female empowerment and equality.
