Like our other collaborations with Root Insurance Co., this activation was meant to echo the brand’s differentiating services. In this instance, they asked us to create a fun visual portrayal of their industry-first move away from traditional agency offices to an all-digital platform.
To do so, we imagined a smartphone-enabled experience that would reward curious users with seasonal prizes—Tiny Agencies.
We designed and fabricated a set of five miniature insurance agencies before installing them in shopping centers around Columbus, Ohio during the holiday season.
Users were invited to place their smartphone atop the mini insurance office as they peered in to admire its faux details and finishings. An internal sensor would then trigger, sending a prize ticket outward for retrieval from the front of the build.
