Safelite AutoGlass tasked us with planning its first annual Ohio State football employee appreciation tailgate parties.

With Safelite's business rooted in customer service and convenience, we aimed to design a high-polish experience that rewarded its staff's devotion to quality.

The resulting series of footprints celebrated three groups of Safelite-affiliated Buckeye fans. The “Safelite Tailgate” hosted more than 250 people for an eight-hour event, including employees, their families and friends. “FanFest” played host to more than 500 Buckeye faithful for three hours before kickoff. The “Safelite Field Team Tailgate” welcomed Safelite’s mobile repair associates and their families.

The Impact

Safelite enjoys a close relationship with the Buckeyes as a longtime in-stadium sponsor of Ohio State football. One result of this partnership is rampant fandom throughout the company. Such an affinity added meaning to the tailgate series, helping to demonstrate Safelite’s deep understanding and appreciation of its own staff.
